What to expect from an art therapy session
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art-making to promote healing and emotional creative and spiritual growth. No artistic skills are needed as the focus is on expression not the end product. Guided by an art therapist participants use art to explore thoughts and emotions enhancing self-awareness and well-being. This process supports mental health by helping with anxiety depression trauma and self-confidence improving cognitive function insight and social skills while building resilience.
