About this Event

This advanced course is designed for therapists and healthcare professionals seeking to enhance their understanding and skills in using art therapy for the purpose of psychedelic integration. As interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy grows, so does the need for effective integration techniques to support clients in making meaning of their psychedelic experiences.

CE's will be available for this course. Please check back to learn about additional costs & relevant degrees for aquiring CE's, or email [email protected] for more information.

Prerequisites: This course is open to licensed therapists, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals including integration coaches, psychedelic facilitators, and alternative healers who have completed foundational training in their respective fields. Familiarity with basic principles of art therapy and psychedelic therapy is recommended but not required.

Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and experiential learning, participants will explore the principles and practices of art therapy as applied to the process of integrating psychedelic experiences. Emphasis will be placed on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, fostering self-awareness, and promoting personal growth and healing.

Drawing from contemporary research and ethical considerations, this course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively support clients in their journey of psychedelic integration. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a deeper understanding of the intersection between art therapy and psychedelic therapy and will be equipped with practical tools to incorporate these approaches into their clinical practice.

The course will consist of lectures, group discussions, experiential exercises, case studies, and hands-on art-making activities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in self-reflective practices and receive personalized feedback from instructors.

Note: This course does not involve the use of psychedelics or psychedelic substances. It is focused on the therapeutic integration of past psychedelic experiences. Participants are encouraged to consult with legal and ethical guidelines in their respective jurisdictions regarding the use of psychedelics in therapy.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the healing capacity within non ordinary states of consciousness and creativity.
