Join the in our galleries for a close look at one or two works on view in , an exhibition that highlights selections from the museum's growing collection.
This talk will spotlight the 2024–25 student acquisition—two prints by artist Chitra Ganesh from her She the Question series, originally published as a 24-page comic book. Through this vibrant, feminist reimagining of comic art, Ganesh brings bold visual storytelling to themes of identity, power, and representation. Selected by the Block Museum Student Associates through a year-long research and acquisition process, these works reflect student voices and priorities within the museum’s collecting practice.
Block Museum Student Associates (BMSAs) are Northwestern undergraduates representing interdisciplinary fields of study from across the university. In the galleries, BMSAs extend welcome to our exhibitions and permanent collection and engage visitors in conversations about artworks that spark their curiosity.
