Join us on September 23 at 1pm for a special ART TALK with graphic designer Courtney Hayes. Hayes grew up in the Flint area, with a long-time passion for art, videography, and photography. She attended Mott Community College out of high school in 2008 and returned in 2018 for art and design. Since then she has worked with some of the largest companies in Detroit, most notably in graphic design, video, and photo for the Detroit Grand Prix. She is also a part of a local film crew in Flint called Flint Rat Films and helped produce their first feature-length film in 2024.
“I like to mix the world of cinema into graphic design. I like each piece to feel like a scene from a movie.”
Courtney Hayes' exhibition will run September 1-26, 2025, Monday-Friday from 9am-4:30pm.
The MCC Fine Arts Gallery is located in room 128 of the Visual Arts and Design Center on the Mott Community College main campus in Flint at 1401 E. Court St. 48503.
