Together, we’ll wander and transform the Gallery into a living, resonant space by creating a collaborative soundscape. Participants will be guided to explore spontaneous, improvised, collective music-making—turning simple sounds into a shared performance.
No musical experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and joy for sound! Open to all ages.
Douglas Tewksbury is an interdisciplinary media artist and composer who commonly works with sound, electronics, photo/video, film, and other media. His ongoing creative work often focuses on the relationship between humans and the natural world, and more recently, bringing communities together through art, wonder, and creativity. In addition to his numerous recorded and sound works, he has developed media, sound, and performance installations for various museums, galleries, and public spaces. He is Professor of Communication and Media Studies at Niagara University, where he teaches courses in media studies, environmental studies, cultural studies, and art.
