Altered Books Workshop is coming to Spokane Zine Fest 2024
Make an altered book with reused materials and ephemera from Art Salvage. We will use simple techniques to transform a board book into an art piece. By layering images, removing small sections, and adding mixed media objects, your book pages will tell a story or become a collection of small art works.
Ages 14+. Class will use sharp tools like exacto knives.
Art Salvage is a nonprofit Creative Reuse Center that supports the circular economy in the Inland Northwest by diverting usable materials from the waste stream and getting materials into the hands of makers.
