About this Event
🌸 Art Pollination Planting: Building Food Justice Through Creativity
Join us for a day of community, creativity, and environmental action in downtown Orlando! 🌿
Through our Art Pollination: Building Food Justice Through Creativity grant with Bloomberg Philanthropies, Fleet Farming is partnering with the City of Orlando to bring life, color, and purpose to our urban spaces. Together, we’ll be planting fruit trees, native pollinator plants, and creating new habitat for local bees — all while helping to beautify the Urban Trail and Gertrude’s Walk between Amelia and Concord Streets near the Lynx Station/SunRail.
This hands-on event is a chance to connect with neighbors, learn about the importance of pollinators, and take part in building a more sustainable and vibrant city.
✨ Event Highlights:
- 🌼 Plant native pollinator plants and fruit trees
- 🧹 Participate in a community cleanup and beautification
- 🐝 Learn about local pollinators and how to support them
