Duluth Folk School invites you to the opening of our latest artist series: Classical Impressionist Paintings by Patrick Glander. Alison Collins writes: "Patrick Glander's greatest artistic influence is the 19th century French Sculptor, François Auguste René Rodin. He admires not just his art but his tenacity and purpose and enjoys reading his philosophies on art.
"Glander also looks toward the work of Velazguez, Manet, Whistler, Levitan and the Boston School painters such as Dennis Miller Bunker and Edmund Tarbell for inspiration."
This activity is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, thanks to appropriations from Minnesota State Legislature's General Fund.
