Chef Taiwo, Tatse, will be showcasing the centerpiece of Nigerian meals on World Jollof Rice Day. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn about the techniques, ingredients, and history behind Jollof Rice. Jollof Rice is seasoned rice that's popularity spread with empire its associated with. It is one of the most recognizable African dishes outside of the continent. It uses a blend of traditional seasonings common in the regions as well as ingredients brought over from the French occupation. You will also be preparing one of the common stews that pairs with your creation to dine with the chef.
Please make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for working in the kitchen. If you hair is shoulder length or longer, please make sure it is tied up.
