About this Event
For Ages 13 to 18 – Learn to make the most of every page as an artist and storyteller. Both beginning and advanced students will study character design, story structure, storyboarding, page layout, panel transitions, the marriage of text and image, the history of comics and genre, and much more! Learn about the many ways to tell stories in your own style through image and text, while also learning about the history of comic book art by comic artists like Alison Bechdel, Tillie Walden, Art Spiegelman, Chris Ware, and Marjane Satrapi. All supplies are provided and included in the price of the class.

- Tuesdays & Thursdays, July 9 - August 1 (8 Class Meetings, 2x/Week)
- 10 AM - 12 PM

- $320/Student (tuition covers all meetings)

Please Note: A full refund will be granted for withdrawals made in writing to [email protected] two weeks prior to the start of the first class. Please note, Eventbrite fees are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by the Armory.
