Have you ever wondered how those famous paintings hanging in the Louvre and The Met were created?
The history of portraiture is long and storied, and its techniques just as rich and complex. Join local painter (and studio member) Danielle Cruit as she demonstrates classical and contemporary painting techniques and perspectives.
Bring your own materials and a photo of someone you'd like to draw or paint (a phone photo is perfect). After a demonstration, we'll break out and begin working on our own pieces. All skill levels are welcome and questions are encouraged!
Danielle studied at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota and her work hangs in private collections around the world. Her commissions include former U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and President Mary Papazian at San José State University.
