About:
Hosted by CARFAC Alberta, the Prairie Art Network and Alexis Marie Productions, join us for a fun evening of networking with artists and art workers from the greater Edmonton region and other parts of Alberta.
Attendees will engage in meaningful discussions, enjoy light refreshments, and gain valuable resources to support their creative practices. This event is a celebration of the arts community and takes place during Alberta Culture Days and Month of the Artist.
How to find the Venue:
The Alexis Marie Productions office-studio is located not far from The Enjoy Centre and the St. Albert Soccer Association. GPS “9 Rowland Crescent” and find the Networking Social at Unit 10, the unit on the right. (See map graphic or contact Alexis at [email protected] for assistance.)
Accessibility:
The venue takes place on the main floor of an office/warehouse studio. The floor is concrete. The front door is 34 inches wide. The lobby door is 32 inches wide. There is a bathroom on the main floor with a door width of 33 inches wide. The door into the studio/warehouse is 33 inches wide. Prairie Art Network
Prairie Art Network (PAN) is a network for Prairie-based arts and cultural professionals, visual arts educators, and students.
Vision: The Prairie Art Network envisions thriving communities across the Prairies where artists and cultural professionals from diverse backgrounds come together to support one another. We aim to build connections through a network that fosters mentorship, accessibility, and advocacy for the arts on the Prairies. Our ultimate goal is to support artists, cultural workers, and academics to celebrate the rich diversity of art and culture in the region.
CARFAC Alberta
CARFAC Alberta is a provincial arts service organization for visual artists and those that engage with visual artists. We are the provincial affiliate for the National Arts Service Organization CARFAC in the province of Alberta. CARFAC (Canadian Artists’ Representation/Le Front des artistes canadiens) has worked for over fifty-six years on the legal and economic issues facing Canadian visual artists.
CARFAC Alberta advances best practices for all visual artists in Alberta through education, advocacy and engagement.
