CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!! The Collingwood Art Center is hosting
ART MAYHEM, a two part painting tournament that's basically a timed game of artistic chicken! Artists will be provided with all the essentials: canvas, paint, brushes, and a strict five-hour time limit. No outside art supplies allowed! The second part of the tournament goes down at Fringe Fest 2025, where the best painting will be declared the winner, and the rest will meet their demise. Winning artists will receive a CASH PRIZE of $250!

Requirements
• Artists must apply individually; no pairs or teams will be accepted
• Artists will be challenged to produce quality artwork in a fast-paced, tournament-style format.
• Compositions will be presented on the same-sized canvas provided by the Collingwood Arts Center.
• Compositions must not infringe on third party rights
• Since events will be open to all ages of the public, we ask that you consider compositions that can be enjoyed by a general audience.

What happens to the artwork during the ART MAYHEM tournament?
During the tournament, paintings will be displayed for voting.
• The artist of the painting receiving the most votes will be declared “THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE”.
• The remaining paintings will enter into a randomly selected one on one face off – two paintings will enter but only one will survive. Face-offs winners will continue in the competition until only one painting is left standing. Face-off losers will be “destroyed” in a dramatic manner. The ultimate Face-off winner will be declared “THE SURVIVOR.”
• “THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE” and “THE SURVIVOR” will be auctioned off in the final event of the competition. Proceeds from the auction will go towards the Collingwood Arts Center Improvement Fund.
• All artists grant Collingwood Arts Center the right to use the name, likeness, and artwork for promotional purposes.
