The annual holiday art sale at the Memorial Union will be held December 2 through December 5 in MU Art Gallery, located on the 1st floor. Hours are Tuesday 4-7pm, Wednesday 11am-4pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, and Friday 11am-7pm (remaining open during WinterFest).Featuring artists, makers, and crafters, our fall sale has something for everyone on your list! From budding creatives on campus to professional artists, you will find pottery, blown glass, jewelry, decor, accessories, and prints. Sales support individual artists, The Workspace, and the Gaffer’s Guild. This year's artists include:
• Jamie Beal - macrame plant hangers and wall hangings
• Alyssa Beltman - crocheted sets of coasters
• Maureen Burke - encaustic paintings and reusable beeswax wrap
• John Burright - wood-turned trees, snowmen, and lidded boxes
• Jillian Dunlap - beaded and resin jewelry
• Karla Embleton - catnip kickers, pottery, and crocheted cactus
• Caroline Freese - pottery, cards, stickers, pillows, and coloring books
• Grace Hatchitt - prints, stickers, and tote bags
• Judy Lemish - upcycled jewelry, bags, and accessories
• Truc Nguyen - plushies and clay figurines
• Ann Pross - glass beads
• Rhonda Scott - glass beads and gemstone jewelry, upcycled book journals, and marbled paper
• Anka Snider - beaded, clay, and laser-cut earrings
• Audrey Stirling - wire wrapped and gemstone jewelry
• Hope Waggoner - 3-D printed sea creatures
• Valerie Willaims - wheel thrown pottery
• The Gaffer's Guild - blown glass including vases, beverageware, ornaments, paperweights, and sculptures
The Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way on the Iowa State campus, and hourly parking is available in the ramp on the east side of the building.
