Art Loop: Kitty MayOpening Night: Friday, December 6th, 5 - 8PM

Kitty May, beloved by friends and family, was an accomplished watercolor artist who painted images from her own garden. She relished bright colors, and her naturalistic, cottage style garden was a testament to that. Her favorite day would be collecting flowers for an arrangement, which she would take to her studio to paint. In her travels to Charleston and abroad, her paints and brushes were always with her. Her personality was as colorful as her paintings, as were the vibrant and diverse groups of friends she surrounded herself with at parties in her garden.
The Delaware Center for Horticulture thanks Lloyd and Jeff Bove for their donation of Kitty’s paintings. We are proud to honor Kitty and her exceptional work in our art gallery. All proceeds from the sale of the paintings will benefit Delaware Center for Horticulture greening programs. Framed and unframed paintings are available.
