About this Event
Escape into the beauty of Central Park and unleash your creativity through the relaxing practice of art journaling! In this one-of-a-kind workshop, we’ll stroll through three picturesque locations within the park, each offering the perfect backdrop for a different art journaling exercise.
Whether you’re looking to relieve stress, embrace gratitude, or simply play with a variety of art supplies, this workshop is designed for you to let go of perfection and create freely.
No experience needed, and all supplies will be provided for you to keep and continue your art journaling practice after class! Your kit includes:
- Strathmore Mixed Media Sketchbook
- Watercolor Palette with Winsor & Newton Watercolors
- Waterbrush Pen
- Black Felt Tip Pen
We’ll meet at the West 77th Street entrance to Central Park on the Upper West Side (across the street from the Museum of Natural History). I'll be holding a sign making it easy for you to find our group. Along the way, we’ll be walking on both paved and dirt paths, with stops to sit and create at benches, rocks, or directly on the grass. The class will go on, rain or shine, so dress accordingly and feel free to bring a picnic blanket for extra comfort!
