Young artists will explore the design element of space in their journal/sketchbook. They will be asked to consider the importance of cultivating unique spaces in their lives: space for friends, for rest, for reading, etc. They will build skills of recognizing the importance of good boundaries with themselves and others, and build a healthy respect for the variety of spaces that different people seek out, and reflect on the needs of self and others while experimenting with different time-honored drawing techniques.
