About this Event
The Covid pandemic has had a profound effect on us all. We have each found different ways to cope and reshape our activities. Cindy Podren found herself spending more time in her garden, motivating her to paint the world around her as she sheltered in place. Sally Petru has been exploring botanical subjects for over 20 years, bringing accurate detail into each of her paintings. Cindy suggested that the two approaches would make for a good exhibition.
Art is the Flower, featuring the Art of Cindy Podren and Sally Petru will be on display from January 8 to February 28, 2021 at 4th Street Fine Art, 2000 University Avenue, Berkeley. The Artist Reception at the gallery will be on Sunday, January 31, 1-3pm.
