Art in the Park
This group provides a welcoming, wholesome, and relaxed environment where you can meet other like-minded folk and work on creative projects.
This month we'll be celebrating IDAHOBIT (The International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination) with DIY pronoun pin and badge making?✨ This event is all about queer expression, visibility and community.
If pin/badge making isn't your thing, you're welcome to bring your own supplies/project to work on!
Time: 4-5:30pm (the event officially ends at 5:30pm, however you are welcome to stay and chat as long as you'd like)
Place: Clewley Park (across from our office which is located at 86 Water Street South).
What to expect?
- Fun and relaxed vibes.
- This is an all-ages event (young people under 12 must have a parent/carer).
- We'll have two blankets to sit on, but if you want to ensure you're not on the grass (sensory, allergies, etc.) we'd recommend you BYO blanket/towel just to be sure!
- Like all our ICC events, this is a safe and inclusive space. Your pronouns are important to us. and support workers/people are always welcome!
This is an LGBTQIA+ safe space and you must agree to respect everyone's affirmed names and pronouns (which I'm sure you'll have no problems doing because you are all so kind and respectful anyway).
