Join us for Art in the Open, a FREE event that invites the community to explore UB’s arts scene and experience how art is made at the UBCFA!Guests have the chance to meet university artists and go behind the scenes to get a glimpse of works in progress. Enjoy live music and dance performances, explore exhibitions, tour studios, view films and more!
Adding to the evening’s excitement is a live performance by rock-art band Lazlo Hollyfeld at 7 p.m. Known for their experimental, instrumental sound, Lazlo Hollyfeld holds a unique place in the Center’s history—they were the very first musical guests featured in the “Music is Art Live @ the Center” television series, recorded at the UBCFA in partnership with the Music is Art organization.
