Join us for Art in the Garden: Watercolor for Beginners and Beyond with Rita Carpenter, owner of Art on the Fly LLC, on Thursday, August 21, from 9:30–11:30 AM.
In this inspiring, hands-on workshop, you’ll explore loose, expressive painting techniques using vibrant Dr. Ph Martin liquid watercolors. Whether you’re brand new to watercolor or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll create a stunning painting or a charming greeting card to take home.
All materials are provided just bring your imagination and let the gardens be your muse.
About the Instructor
Rita Carpenter has been painting since 2008, studying with artists around the world and developing her own unique blend of wild, free techniques and controlled methods. She incorporates collage, pastel, and acrylic into her work and serves as the Wisconsin/USA head for the International Watercolor Society. Through her business, Art on the Fly LLC, Rita has taught classes for over five years and leads art travel adventures for fellow creatives.
