For October Half Term we have a range of Art, Storytelling and Fun Activities Planned for all different Ages.
About this Event

We hope to use October Half Term as a time to come together as a community and celebrate through Art, Storytelling, Fun and Reflection all that we have lived through over the last 18 months up until today. We hope to bring some joy but also some space to share our stories and create new works of art as a product of this time together that you can take home.

Description of Each Session for more information:

Land Art: Use the nature around us to create our own unique art.

Art Therapy (Ages 18+): A session with qualified art therapists to be creative with art.

Family Art Therapy: A family art session, led by qualified art therapists.

Under 5’s and Families Art in Nature: For under 5s with their parents / carers. Get creative using natural materials.

Family Body Prayer: A self-expression exercise using movement to connect with the earth, the spirit and ourselves but at a pace appropriate for all ages.

Body Prayer (18+): A self-expression exercise using movement to connect with the earth, the spirit and ourselves.

Self-Portraiture (18+): Draw the uniqueness that is you!
Creative Family “Walkshop”: An All Age Activity of walking and storytelling amongst nature,

Circus Skills Workshop: For children over 5 years old and their parents/ carers. A chance to play and pick up some circus skills.

Muddy Church for All Ages: A chance to see God through nature, prayer and mud!

Glassdoor Storytelling: Our local homeless charity shares stories of how Covid has affected staff and clients.

Family Fire Pit Storytelling: Gather around a fire pit (in fancy dress). Hear some stories and share some yummy s’mores and short reflections of your own.

Origami: Come and have a go at making some Origami!

Teens Art - “Doodle Art” - a chance for you to have a go at making your own graffiti inspired art work.

All session are free but a donation of £5 per group is appreciated. All donations will go towards future Community Events. Booking is advised. 15 minutes after the entry time for each session the gates will be closed to ensure privacy and safety for each group.

Location of all events in person is : The Moravian Close (SW10 0LP), King's Road, Chelsea, London.

If we end up in a strict lockdown we intend to still host this event just online on zoom. All sessions will be run through Zoom and details on here will updated if this becomes necessary.
