Celebrate spring with a perfect blend of art, movement, and community! Join artist Christina Chang and athlete Shawn Hoyt—a husband-and-wife duo who share a passion for both running and creativity—for a 5K Art Run through historic Lexington Center.
This all-levels run begins at the Lexington Center store of the iconic New England athletic retailer Marathon Sports and winds through the scenic streets of Lexington, which is commemorating the 250th anniversary of the historic Battles of Lexington and Concord. The route finishes at Galaray House, a gallery and coffee shop in Lexington Center, where Christina is the featured artist of the month. Her bold, vibrant abstract paintings and landscape reflect her energy, movement, and rich Chinese-Italian American heritage.
Lace up your running shoes, meet up at Marathon Sports, enjoy a fun and social run, and celebrate art, history, and community! After the run, relax at Galaray House with a cup of coffee and recover with treats while taking in the artwork and connecting with fellow runners and art lovers.
