About Art In Focus
Art in focus, a 2-hour mindfulness art session* where by using different materials you create art, relax and have fun.
We are all about the process of creating art and the benefits it brings to our wellbeing, and consider the end result to be the culmination of our efforts, but not our main purpose.
Art in focus is hosted by Mari, a local designer and illustrator who used art to overcome postnatal depression, find herself and the power to be more than just a mother. She now wants to offer the opportunity to others to discover themselves through creation.
Art In Focus is for everyone!
Everyone is welcome and no previous experience or technical expertise is required. We believe that everyone can be creative and want to help you release your potential, free of judgement.
When and where does Art In Focus run?
The sessions will run in Clarence Park St. Albans between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm on Saturday. In case of bad weather please find us at Verdis cafe inside tables.
Participants can join at any time and regular attendance is preferred but not mandatory.
What else should I know?
Places are limited (max 8 persons) so please book your place in advance.
All materials will be provided, as well as coffee/tea and biscuits.
