The Art Station Hunt returns for this year's Botanical Art Festival! No registration is needed for these free, all ages events. Grab a booklet and visit the Garden often through the month of September to visit every station. Remember to bring something to draw with so you can chart your progress.Art Station Schedule September 27-28:
Garden Lamp Station:
Stroll down by the stream to visit the Garden's lamp arrangement station. Gather pretty blooms, interesting sticks, and other nature finds to create a beautiful arrangement in one of the lamps here and leave it for others to admire!
Tai Chi Pose Station:
Visit the gathering circle next to the Butternut Tree to find photos of beautiful T'ai Chi poses done by Hiromi of the Charlottesville T'ai Chi Center. Can you recreate these poses using rocks, tree cookies, and other natural materials?
JMRL's Rock Garden Station
Walk through the woods to find the Jefferson Madison Regional Library's Rock Garden Station. Use a variety of rocks to create flowers, creatures, and more!
Hearth Cville's Chalkboard Station:
Visit the Garden's main gathering area and reflect on nature through chalk.
The Scrappy Elephant's Wreath Station:
Down the hill and among the trees you will find a wreath frame ready and waiting for you to add your personal touch. Will it be a stick? Ribbons? We can't wait to see.
