About this Event
With over a century of innovation and scholarship in the visual arts, the legacy of Art History at the Atlanta University Center can be experienced throughout the campus communities. Numbering over 40,000 objects across five museums, collections and archives, vast holdings begin in the 17th century and connect the community to legendary artists, historians, educators, scholars, and innovators.
The AUC Art Walking Tour invites participants to discover the Art Historical legacy and treasures of the nation’s largest consortium of Historically Black Colleges / Universities.
The tour will begin outside of the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art and end at the Clark Atlanta University Art Museum. RSVP is required, space is limited.
