Attend this in-person painting workshop and raise money to support Ukrainian refugees living in Philadelphia
About this Event

In this painting workshop, professional artist Elena Neigum will instruct you in painting French Lavender using impressionistic and realistic styles.

Elena Neigum is a university-trained artist from Russia with mixed Ukrainian and Russian heritage. She has lived in Philadelphia since 2019 and loves libraries, teaching art, and helping others. Elena will donate all proceeds from the workshop's ticket sales to HIAS PA to support their work resettling refugees from Ukraine and other countries in Philadelphia.

All materials will be provided (canvas, paints, brushes, easels, palettes) and you can take your painting home with you! The workshop will take place on the first floor of Parkway Central Library (Heim Center 131/132).

A limited number of complimentary tickets are available for SNAP eligible families and for anyone who cannot afford the fee right now but would still like to participate. Please email [email protected] for more information.
