Art for Health and Heart are afternoon art therapy group sessions for people who would like to to connect more with their thoughts and feelings. Art Therapy is a creative and therapeutic way to express what is going on for you in your internal world.
During this art therapy workshop, you will be able to connect with your inner self in order to align with what is true for you right now. This can be helpful in making steps towards what you would like to create in your life that brings happiness, stability and health.
These group session are also an opportunity to share your creative expressions with others in the group so you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Art Therapy is a great way to connect with others in your community and know you are not alone with the challenges and lessons that life brings.
You don't need any art skills to enjoy and benefit from art therapy. The only thing needed is yourself and a willingness to express yourself through artistic mediums with an open mind.
The workshop will run on Saturday once a month if you would like to make this time as part of your regular self-care.
Time of the session is for 2 hrs from 1pm - 3pm.
Cost is $40 Waged and $30 Concession

Spaces are limited to 12 people so get in early not to miss out!
*All materials are included in the cost and it is encouraged to bring an art diary for any note making or additional sketches.

This workshop will be facilitated by the Visionary Artist and Art Therapist Lisa J Winter. Lisa’s tertiary qualifications include an Advanced Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy, a Diploma of Visual Art and Cert 4 in Community Services. Mental Health First Aid and AOD training. Lisa also currently studies a Bachelor of Counselling Psychotherapy at Ikon Institute.
