Multimedia Collage Workshop with Tanya Bartels
Imagine a World invites participants to explore nature through art in this collaborative multimedia collage workshop. We’ll work together to build a unique piece of art while uncovering the therapeutic benefits of blending creativity with nature.
Art supplies are provided. No previous art-making experience necessary.
About Tanya Bartels
For Tanya Bartels, art serves as a path to deepen her connection with nature, expressing this bond through pen and ink, painting, collage, natural objects, and garden design. Through her creative process, Tanya has discovered how art and nature can promote healing, offering a powerful tool for navigating life’s complexities and emotions. This understanding fuels her passion for integrating therapeutic practices into her work, guiding others to uncover their own connection to nature and its transformative benefits.
Compound’s Art For All is a series of hands-on workshops that teach various artistic mediums and encourages a new way of making art that’s fun and engaging for the whole family. You will be able to learn drawing, collage, painting, performance, sculpture, ceramics, music-making, and much more.
Workshops are free and open to all thanks to this year’s sponsor, The Port of Long Beach, and a donation by The Rudolph J. and Daphne A. Munzer Foundation.
