Save the date! August 2nd to 4th 🔥 Immerse yourself in the shadows of Elias Forberg’s psyche at his debut Copenhagen exhibition! This showcase merges the raw, intimate works from seasons 7 through 10, including pieces from the “Kjære Dagbok” and “Kirkebrann” series, along with new, evocative creations.
Forberg collaborates with photographer Steffen Riise Skjel to present a series of haunting black-and-white photographs, enhanced with his signature black metal-inspired painting style. These works intertwine cybercigilism, church burnings, and bleak texts, embodying the aesthetics of both “Kirkebrann” and “Kjære Dagbok.”
“Why is our generation so damn tame? Why have we turned our hate inward?” Forberg’s canvases are windows into a macabre world, revealing our darkest desires, grotesque histories, and occult symbols. Each piece is a raw, unapologetic look into his soul, reflecting his battle with self-loathing.
