Art Exhibition "How I See It"

To mark the Slovenian cultural holiday "Prešeren day", the Embassy of Slovenia invites you to the open house event that will take place on 8th February, between 10.00 and 16.00 hrs.

Slovenian Embassy will open its doors to the public to show an exhibition "How I See It - Slovenian Art inspired by Ireland's life and Landscape".

The exhibition will feature the art of two Slovenians living and creating in Ireland. Fascinated by the majestic Irish landscape, they started creating different art pieces.

#MajaBan developed a unique surrealistic style full of symbolism and intriguing details. Her fascination with the Irish landscape led her to create sculptures and paintings inspired by wind and air.

#VesnaPodgorski started making her wooden jewellery after realizing the amount of wooden waste from other processes. She hired a workshop and started designing wooden jewellery from waste. The forms come very intuitively and give new life to wood.
