About this Event
The way in which we document artwork has changed massively over the past 20 years. International guidelines like FADGI and METAMORFOZE provide a framework not only for how artwork should be performed but also for how we can “grade” or quantify such efforts. These guidelines have raised the bar substantially. This workshop will focus on an introduction to FADGI guidelines for flat artwork documentation. We will demonstrate Fujifilm GFX cameras and lenses and Adobe Lightroom for a tethered workflow. We will have a hands-on demonstration with a 4-point lighting system and full cross-polarization. Illumination uniformity, unbiased texture rendition and custom camera calibration will be covered. Regardless of your choice of cameras and software, we think this will help elevate your artwork documentation to FADGI-certifiable levels.
