Art Crawl is a program designed to offer infants (newborns through 14 months) and their caregivers an opportunity to experience art, build relationships, and learn together. Surrounded by Clyfford Still’s expansive body of work, Museum educators will lead participants through the galleries and provide provocations based on art exploration. Your guide will encourage an interactive discussion on the importance of introducing your baby to art at an early age and tips for experiencing art together.The April theme is “ABC’s of Curating.” What does a museum curator do? In this session, co-developed with CSM’s curator of collections, you and your baby will try choosing between art and arranging it. We will explore how art is curated through the eye of infants.

We suggest arriving 10 minutes early to get your little one and your belongings organized before we begin the program on the Museum’s second floor in The Making Space. We encourage you to let your infant explore, follow their lead, and observe what draws their attention. This experience is the best foundation for discussing and discovering the joy of art together.
Admission: Free for CSM members, $10 adults, $8 seniors (65+), $6 teachers/college students/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under.
