Join our friendly group of creatives to splash some paint about together 🎨🖌👩🎨. You don't need to have ever painted before as you'll be supported to succeed and be guided step by step by our professional artist.
If you already paint, then grow & explore new subjects, techniques & mediums.
7 different paintings over 9 weeks. Two paintings will be our masterpieces and span 2 weeks.
Week 10 is when we finish or retouch previous pieces to complete them to your satisfaction & is also an opportunity to 'make-up' a missed class from during the term.
You can attend the whole painting series or just a few (check our Single Class Pass or Concession Card options)

Tasters include...
...a fabulous contemporary acrylic painting denoting our kiwi culture
....a triptych ( three canvases) of vibrant abstract florals in acrylic
....'Murmation' a richly coloured dusk with a silouetted flock of birds flowing & dancing in unison to their own tune.
....'Portrait of a woman' with inspiration from a famous NZ artists joyful, gestural style.
.....a watercolour landscape featuring a modern abstract feel. Ideal to hang on pride of place at home.
....'Inside the artist', a 2 week still life interior piece exploring the lens of a famous European artist.
...our 10th week is our 'make-up class', to complete or rework unfinished pieces, or paint one of the subjects you missed through the term if you were unable to attend a class. Never fear, you will take home some masterpieces you'll be proud came from your own creative being.
Venue: Lilypad Cafe on Kaipaki Road are our hosts, so you can treat yourself to coffee & cake at the easel and know your self care is done for the day, even meet a friend for lunch afterwards.
