Looking for time and space to be creative? Join us at the studio on Wednesday evenings for our weekly Art Club for Adults ! A space to unwind, create, meet new people and learn new skills...With our winter 2023 sessions being a massive hit, we have decided to run the art club once again in the spring of 2024 :)
Each week will focus on a different art form or craft, with a wide range of materials and equipment available to play with ... There will be the opportunity to explore a variety of different mediums - we love to encourage creative play and our art club is your chance to dive in and play with all that the Creatopia studio has to offer!
Over the 5 weeks we will cover:
Print-Making
Upcycling & Dyeing
Fiber Arts such as Macrame and Felting
Pottery
Painting & Drawing
Lots more :)
Tasha & Gemma are experienced artists and crafters and will take you through a variety of different techniques & art-making practices step by step, whilst offering you plenty of time and encouragement to experiment and play.
What to expect:
- Art sessions for adults, with a focus on a fun, new craft each week.
- Time to relax, explore and get creative - make a mess and not have to tidy up ;)
- Each session starts with a demonstration, followed by time to get stuck in and experiment.
- Plenty of tea and coffee to help along the way!
- These sessions are the perfect way to carve out some time for yourself and explore your creative side. Come along, meet like-minded people and give your well-being a boost while getting your hands messy!
- You will leave with a new creation each week, some new skills and inspiration to carry on creating at home.
Our next 'term' starts in May and we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. We are only able to run these sessions at limited times during the year due to other commitments, and we run the Art Club as a not-for-profit venture.
