Join us in painting a 5"x7" canvas to submit to our Art By Chance fundraiser scheduled at Woody's on January 14! Experienced and beginner artists are encouraged to participate. We will provide all materials needed with a variety of paints including acrylic, oil and watercolor. Each person is welcome to submit up to 2 pieces that will be put on display and sold at Woody's Tavern. This will be a drop in style workshop, come anytime during the workshop and stay as long as you would like. RSVP not required but encouraged.

Art By Chance is a fundraiser for the MARC where we team up with Woody’s for an exciting game of chance to win art! Local artists will hand-paint a 5"x7" canvases each incorporating their own unique style. Each artist will only sign the back of the canvas, so when the paintings are on display we will not know who created each one. The artwork will be on display at Woody’s Tavern for the evening, where you will have two hours to peruse and decide which pieces you like best. When we give the signal, participants will sign their name on a number, 1 through 10, on any piece they would like the change to purchase. Moab Arts staff will then roll a D10 dice! If the dice lands on your number, the painting is yours to purchase for $30.
