Join fellow art and book lovers in the TMA Library & Archives Reading Room for a book club discussion led by Manager of Library and Archives/Archivist, Julie McMaster, on Wednesday, March 12th from 5:30-7:00pm; this time around, we will be discussing the mystery-thriller, Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley, which deals with themes of identity, family, and community.This book choice is connected to the exhibition Return to Turtle Island: Indigenous Nation-Building in the Eighteenth Century and comes at the recommendation of the exhibition's curator, TMA's Consulting Curator of Native American Art, Johanna Minich.
Discussion attendees are also invited to attend a docent-led tour of the exhibition on Friday, March 14th from 5:30-6:30pm. This is open to discussion registrants only. Attendees should meet in Libbey Court for the tour unless otherwise stated.
Parking for the book discussion will be located in Lot 3. Parking for the tour will be located in Lot 1.
