About this Event
Art Baby is a six-week therapeutic art course designed to help parents and babies connect through creativity. Aimed at parents with babies in their first twelve months, it offers a relaxed space to pause, reflect and enjoy making art together.
Each week you’ll explore painting, sketching and simple printmaking, with your baby as your muse. Activities are designed to help you notice and respond to your baby – their movements, sounds and expressions – and to use these shared moments as inspiration for your work.
Through creating side by side, you’ll have time to build confidence, strengthen your bond and reflect on your experiences of early parenthood. The focus is on process, not perfection – enjoying creativity for its own sake in a supportive, baby-friendly environment.
The sessions are led by Rae Morfin, trainee child therapist and author of Art Baby. Drawing on therapeutic and creative approaches, Rae will guide you through a series of gentle sessions designed to encourage connection, expression and calm.

Art Baby runs for six weeks, from Thursday 6th November to Thursday 11th December 2025, 10:30am–12:00pm at The Storehouse, Vulcan Street, BD4 9QU.
