Through creative expression and laughter exercises, you'll release stress, nurture self-expression, and celebrate life’s simple joys. Whether seeking fun, connection, or mindfulness, this event is designed to uplift and inspire.
What is It:
- Art-Making in an Open Studio: A free and supportive space for self-expression and experimentation with various materials, fostering personal growth and connection.
- Laughter Yoga: Playful exercises blending intentional laughter, childlike playfulness, and yogic breathing to promote well-being, stress relief, and mood enhancement.
- Each virtual session is facilitated by graduate level student art therapists
No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to share joyful moments!
What to Expect in this Session:
- Warm Welcome & Icebreakers: Ease into the space with introductions and playful activities to connect with others.
- Laughter Yoga Exercises: A series of joyful, movement-based exercises designed to get you smiling, laughing, and feeling good in your body.
- Creative Art Invitation: Guided by gentle prompts, you’ll create art that reflects your unique inner child. No art experience is needed, and all mediums are welcome!
- Community Reflection: Share your insights, stories, and creative pieces in a supportive and open-hearted environment (optional).
- Closing and Conscious Goodbyes: Laughter Exercise and Group work
Who Can Join:
- Anyone over the age of 18 who is curious about art therapy, laughter yoga, or simply wants to have fun and unwind.
- No prior experience in art or yoga is required—just bring your willingness to explore and play!
What You’ll Need:
- Comfortable clothing to move and laugh freely.
- Basic art and craft supplies (e.g. collage material, craft material, or recycled materials) Whatever you have at home also works.
- An open mind and a playful spirit!
Registration information: You can sign up for one or more sessions using your email address and select the ones you’d like to attend. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon registration. If you’re unable to attend, please cancel your booking so we can offer your spot to someone else.

- Cameras on, if possible, to foster a sense of community and sense of safety.
- When entering the meeting, please have the name you used to register displayed on your screen.
- Please arrive on time to honor the group experience.
- A safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all participants is our priority. (We aim for a barrier-free environment and request that you do not use substances during the open studio.)
- Disrespectful comments or actions are not acceptable.
