Looking for engaging school holiday activities for kids in Melbourne? Our Port Melbourne school holiday art programoffers full-day and half-day workshops designed to inspire creativity and build confidence – no experience needed!
Running from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily (with half-day options available), our workshops are perfect for children aged 5–12 who love drawing, painting, sculpting, and exploring new art techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
What’s Included in Our Melbourne School Holiday Program:Each day includes 2–3 hands-on art workshops, where kids will experiment with a variety of mediums such as:
- Glow-in-the-Dark Painting – Create glowing artwork inspired by space, oceans, or fantasy themes.
- Clay & Sculpture – Craft imaginative creatures and objects using modelling clay and natural materials.
- Charcoal Drawing – Learn shading and texture with expressive animal or landscape sketches.
- Printmaking – Use texture and pattern to design stunning prints from natural or everyday items.
- Still Life Art – Explore colour, composition, and form through vibrant still life paintings.
- Plaster & Relief Art – Mould, pour, and decorate your own plaster artworks.
