About this Event
A collection of paintings by children residing in Saint Hierarch Leontie orphanage in Radauti, Romania, will be on display at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.
The St Leontie Children's Home collaborates with the Children Protection Services in the county of Suceava to ensure a stable environment (11 family-type houses) and integrated services for children, with a view to reintegration into the family or socio-professional integration and preparation for independent life.
After graduating from high school, the children stay at the settlement and are supported until they become independent. Currently, the institution, founded in 2001 by Archim. Iustin Dragomir Ioan, the Abbot of the Bogdana Monastery in Rădăuţi, hosts approximately 170 children and young people.
What is truly miraculous about this establishment is, first of all, the care and love every child receives, in addition to meeting the basic needs of the children, which are impeccably fulfilled.
In addition to a caring upbringing, these children and young people learn the meaning of love from a family that, although not blood, will remain there for life.
Join us for a evening of art and pure emotion!
