
About this Event
This event features a group bike ride and art making session along the Boston Harborwalk in Dorchester, MA. Our intention is to offer a restorative experience that incorporates physical activity, creative expression, and connection with the beautiful green & blue spaces in our city.
Date: Sunday September 28th @ 2PM - 5PM
**We will share any weather-related updates on the morning of the event and schedule a rain date if needed
Meeting Point: Tenean Beach in Dorchester, MA (nearby Boston Bowl)
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to check in and get ready to ride!
- Helmets are Required!
- You must bring a bicycle to ride - bring your own or rent a Blue Bike at the nearest location (Imprint Apartments @ 780 Morrissey Blvd Dorchester, MA 02122).
- There is free parking at Tenean Beach and access to portable bathroom
- If you are coming by public transit, you can take the MBTA Red Line to Ashmont Station (which also has access to Blue Bikes).
Bike Route: We will enjoy a casual-paced bike ride as a group to Carson Beach along the Boston Harborwalk passing through the JFK/UMass Boston campus and terminating at Carson Beach.
- This route is about 4 miles in distance. We will take two breaks along the way to hydrate and use the restroom.
- The event will end at Carson Beach at 5pm where everyone is free to disperse, but we will support any bike riders who are returning to Tenean Beach or taking public transit (nearest MBTA Red Line stop is JFK/UMass).

Art Session: Korefi will open with restorative guided stretches, followed by an artmaking session with Art & Soul Clinic. This session will take place outdoors nearby Carson Beach. All art supplies will be provided along with some healthy snacks.
Reminders:
- Ideal for ages 18+
- Bring a Water bottle(s) or extra snacks for yourself
- No Helmet, No Riding! Your safety matters to us!
- Dress in layers (sweater, coat, scarf, etc.) - it can get breezy by the water!
- Optional: Bring along any art supplies or any other resources that you'd like to use and share with the group
