BBC micro: bit Coding Class (Art and Music Production): STEM based class
"Your only limitation is your imagination” So explore your artistic imagination through composing graphics, animations, music and coding. Join us for this in-person computer technology workshop facilitated by Georgia Tech’s and the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing’s CS Instructional Specialist (CEO of ViZion Dance, Inc. and two-time Teacher of the Year award winner), Sababu Chaka Barashango. This class is perfect for art, music, and programming enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Learn through block-based coding or level up and program in JavaScript or Python. Although, micro:bits are physical computing devices that can be purchased at reasonable rates, the online platform MakeCode (https://makecode.microbit.org/) is a FREE educational learning environment with a FREE micro:bit emulator. BBC micro:bit is here to “inspire students to get creative with coding...” in an “easy”, “effective”, and “engaging” way. All neccesary equipment will be provided during the class. We can’t wait to see you there!
