Art 300: Artistic Vision & Portfolio BuildingAugust–May | Weekly Class | Prerequisite: Art 200
Art 300 is an advanced studio course for students ready to work with greater independence and depth. This year focuses on mastering classical techniques, developing a personal style, and creating a cohesive portfolio of work across drawing, watercolor or acrylic painting, and clay. Students will analyze the work of historical and contemporary artists, engage in self-directed projects, and prepare for end-of-year exhibitions that showcase their growth and creativity.
*There is no class the following weeks for breaks: Nov 24-28, Dec 22-Jan 2, Mar 16-20. One hour of open studio is available during break weeks for students to work on their projects or practice.
