Ars Mediale. Форум експериментального кіно — триденна подія, присвячена нелінійному, експериментальному та архівному кіно.
19-21 грудня 2025 року форум об’єднає навколо теми деколонізації архівів та спадщини митців/-кинь, режисерів/-ок та дослідників/-ниць.
У програмі — кінопокази, з-поміж яких кураторські добірки від Berlinale Forum Expanded, Sinema Transtopia, Екс-Марсельського університету, “Дослідницької групи кафедри досконалості” AMidex–ANFAA, Дослідницької лабораторії IDEAS, Довженко-Центру, розмови з режисер(к)ами та куратор(к)ами, а також тематичні дискусії.
Ars Mediale прагне створити простір для критичного діалогу про минуле, пам’ять і сьогодення за допомогою рухомого зображення.
Важливою складовою Ars Mediale є інклюзивність — більшість фільмів Форуму будуть адаптовані для людей із порушенням слуху та супроводжуватимуться описовими субтитрами.
Проєкт отримав підтримку в межах Фонду стійкості (Resilience Fund) від Goethe-Institut в Україні. Уже четвертий рік поспіль програма продовжує підтримувати культурні та освітні інституції, а також громадські організації, які демонструють виняткову стійкість в умовах повномасштабної російської агресії.

Ars Mediale. The Forum of Experimental Film is a three-day event dedicated to non-linear, experimental, and archival cinema.
From 19 to 21 December 2025, the forum will focus on the decolonization of archives and the artistic heritage of filmmakers, directors, and researchers.
The program includes film screenings, featuring curated selections from Berlinale Forum Expanded, Sinema Transtopia, Aix-Marseille University, the AMidex–ANFAA “Department of Excellence Research Group,” the IDEAS Research Lab, and the Dovzhenko Center, along with conversations with directors and curators, and thematic discussions.
Ars Mediale aims to create a space for critical dialogue about the past, memory, and the present through moving images.
The project received support through the Resilience Fund from the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine. For the fourth year in a row, the program continues to support cultural and educational institutions, as well as civil society organisations that demonstrate exceptional resilience amid Russia’s full-scale aggression.
