The Arrowtown Horticultural Society is pleased to present the 101st Spring Flower Show at the Athanaeum Hall!This years event is held over two days.
Open to the public:
Friday 27th September 2024 - 1.00pm - 5.00 pm
Saturday 28th September 2024 - 10.00 am – 3.00 pm
Admission: Adults $3.00 - Children Free
Morning and Afternoon Tea: Adults $6.00 - Children $3.00
Saturday Lunch - Soup & Bread Roll $10.00
Plant Stalls - White Elephant - Raffles
The schedule will be announced soon. Please keep an eye out, as some changes have been made for conditions of entry.
Notes to consider..
1. All entries must be received on
THURSDAY 26th SEPTEMBER BETWEEN 1.00 PM AND 8.00PM
We are unable to take entries on show morning. Thanks for your understanding.
2. STEWARDS will be on hand to assist you with your entries.
3. ALL FLOWER ENTRIES, with the exception of Floral Art, must be grown by the entrant.
4. EACH ENTRY will be supplied with a sticker with the class and entry number and this should be securely attached to
each entry.
5. BOTTLES and SMALL CONTAINERS are supplied by the Stewards and we prefer you to use these.
Entrants will need to fill them with water which will be available in the hall.
6. JUDGING will be done on FRIDAY MORNING.
7. JUDGES decisions will be FINAL.
8. ENTRIES CANNOT BE REMOVED UNTIL SATURDAY BETWEEN 3PM AND 4PM ONLY.
Children may collect their entries at any time after judging.
Flower entries not collected will be donated locally.
9. WINNING ENTRIES will be displayed on the Stage of the Hall after judging as well as uploaded to the Arrowtown Horticultural Society Facebook and Instagram pages.
