Due to a burst pipe in our French Quarter visitor center, the Arrowhead Jazz Band performance on 12/9/25 will take place at our Dutch Alley performance center at 916 N Peters St, New Orelans, LA. In the alley behind the sock shop and next to Marche and the New Orleans Artist Co-Op.The Arrowhead Jazz Band brings together National Park Service Rangers and local musicians to perform traditional New Orleans jazz, blues, gospel, and original compositions.
Join New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park Rangers Jade Perdue (vocals/keyboards), Matt Hampsey (guitar), Kerry Lewis, Sr. (bass), and Hunter Miles Davis (drums), Intern Saskia Walker (vocals), Intern Tim Brown II (percussion), with special guest Clarence Johnson (saxophone) for an exploration of jazz music styles.
The Arrowhead Jazz Band performs on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm. The rangers will be joined by the following musicians in December:
- 12/2 - Clarence Johnson III on saxophone
- 12/9 - Tim Sullivan on saxophone
- 12/16 - Tim Sullivan on saxophone
- 12/23 - Tim Sullivan on saxophone
- 12/30 - Tim Sullivan on saxophone
This program takes place at our French Quarter Visitor Center - 419 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70130. Admission is free and open to the public, seating is limited and offered first come, first served basis.
