As the chill of winter sets in and December brings shorter days, we gather around tables and fires to share stories that warm our hearts and connect us with our cultures. The InKspire Writers Club invites you to a creative workshop in the cozy atmosphere of our favorite Jazz Café!
Workshop Theme: Winter Folklore Stories
§ Choose a winter folktale from your country or a culture you’re passionate about. Consider how the story reflects themes of winter, community, or resilience.
§ Create your own interpretation of the chosen tale. This could be a retelling, a personal reflection inspired by the folklore, or an original story that incorporates elements of the tradition.
§ Be prepared to share your story with the group, providing insights into its cultural significance and what it means to you.
§ Requirements: a short story, or part of a larger work UP TO 4 A4 pages, with no genre restrictions.
§ If your text is in Bulgarian, you should submit it to [email protected] by November 26th, 2024. If it's in English, you can directly print several copies and bring them to the meeting.
