Around the Fire — A Family & Community New Year's CelebrationYou're warmly invited to slow down and end the year together, with family, friends, and our Westering community.
This is a safe, relaxed space to gather close, laugh, eat, play, and welcome the new year side by side.
Entry: FREE
Date: Wednesday, 31 December
Time: 2pm – 9pm
Where: 1 Diggery Drive, Westering
From 2pm onward, the grounds will be alive with activity for the whole family, and many of these will continue into the evening:
• Food trucks & stalls (from 2pm until 6pm)
• Good music throughout the day
• Kids play area (ages 2–6)
• Jumping castle
• Volleyball, touch rugby & soccer
• Table tennis, board games & more
From about 6pm, we'll light the fire, slow the pace, and enjoy the evening together as the celebration continues.
From 7pm, we'll be selling boerewors rolls at R20 each — easy, tasty, and perfect for a relaxed night around the fire.
This isn't about rushing into the next year.
It's about being present, building memories, and stepping forward together.
Bring your people. Invite your friends.
Come as you are, and let's welcome the new year around the fire.
