**The aroniaberry is a dark-purple fruit that is full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. Try them on hot and cold cereals, pancakes and yogurt, as well as salads and desserts, teas and juices. Aroniaberries enhance the flavor of many dishes. The aroniaberry is native to North American and has been utilized for years by those who seek alternative health choices through foods that contain multiple benefits for overall wellness. Aroniaberries are special because their power comes from a group of natural nutrients found in plants called Polyphenols. Scientists have found that Polyphenols, Flavonoids and Anthocyanins can suppress or neutralize free radicals and may prevent oxidative events in the body, a key factor in healthy aging, and boosting our immune system.
